Image processing
Images you select are decoded, compressed, and prepared for download inside your browser. FilePinch does not upload, store, or receive the original image or compressed result. Closing or refreshing the page clears the temporary in-browser file data.
Analytics
We may use privacy-focused traffic analytics to understand page visits and browser performance. If product analytics is enabled, we may also record aggregate events such as an upload starting, compression succeeding or failing, a selected size target, and a download click.
Analytics events must not include image contents, filenames, blob URLs, EXIF metadata, exact file sizes, or other file-specific content. File sizes are grouped into broad bands. The active analytics provider, if any, is configured at deployment time.
Local browser data
FilePinch does not require an account. The core compressor does not use cookies or persistent browser storage. An enabled third-party analytics provider may use its own limited browser storage according to that provider's policy.
